Cube Count example
Cube Count puzzles

Cube Counting puzzles are often found in brain training workouts. They test an interesting combination of memory, numeric and visualisation skills.

Users must use their visualisation skills to make sense of the 3D rendering, working out what cubes are hidden out of sight and dividing the shape into layers for counting.

While counting they must hold the totals of both the current layer and the total so far as they go, and of course their mathematical skills get a workout as they add up the cube counts.

These are good all-round, attractive puzzles which also don't look too threatening. They can also be animated if used in electronic publications.
